The Journey
The pattern that became a path
This journey didn't begin as a framework. It began as something I kept witnessing, no matter who I was working with.
The creatives whose work created the deepest resonance were not the ones who had found the perfect content formula. They were the ones who had gone inward first, who had sat with what they were carrying long enough to trust it before asking it to be seen. Who had learned that sharing their work meant sharing something of themselves: not all of it, but the true parts. The parts that, offered with care, let others recognise themselves in it, and form a bond no strategy can manufacture.
What I saw in them, again and again, were five movements. They move the way seasons move, in a cycle that turns and returns, so you do not begin at the beginning. You enter where you already are. The seasons become a compass we return to, so that whatever we create together grows from where your work actually is, rather than where a plan says it should be.
These five movements became the foundation of how we work together at Collective Roots.

Introducing my core offering
ROOTED TOGETHER
An ongoing co-creative partnership for meaningful work finding its way into the world.
There's a particular loneliness in building something that matters, isn't there. The sense that you have to hold all of it, decide all of it, make all of it, on your own.
I know that loneliness, and Rooted Together is my answer to it.
Picture us sitting side by side with your work, month after month, shaping it together, one piece at a time, at the pace your season asks for. When your work is rooting, we tend the foundations. When it's reaching for language, for form, for connection, or for a wider audience, we meet it there together. Your season shows us where to begin, and whatever we build, we build side by side.
This is your work, and it should still feel like yours. You don’t have to hand it over, nor do you have to carry every part of it alone. We work alongside each other, giving shape to what’s already within you and letting it unfold in your own voice.
A steady place to be supported, witnessed, and accompanied as your ideas take root and begin to make their way into the world.
I'd love to walk it with you.
Each month has four steady anchors
How it actually works
01. Find your season.
Start with the free Creative Seasons quiz to discover where your work is right now: winter, spring, summer, or autumn. Your season is our compass, it tells us where you are on the journey and what to tend first. If you already sense your season, you can simply come as you are.
02. apply
Tell me a little about your work, where you are, and what's calling for attention. The application isn't a hurdle, it's how we both feel whether this is the right fit, for where you are and what you need, before either of us commits to a season together. Because this is an intimate partnership, I take on only a few people at a time
03. Meet, on a free 30-minute call.
Once I've read your application, we talk. We confirm your season together, get a feel for one another, and choose your first co-creation piece from your season's menu, shaped to what you genuinely need right now. You'll leave the call knowing exactly where we're beginning and why.
04. Settle into your Notion dashboard.
Your evolving home base, where our focus and strategy for the month are laid out with a clear, doable step-by-step to follow. It grows with you over time, holding your resources, prompts, and everything we create, so nothing is ever left vague or scattered.
05. Work, with me beside you.
As we build your co-creation piece, you have my input at every step on Slack, so the work never stalls and you never feel alone in it. I check in with you twice a week to see how you're doing, keep the momentum going, and hold you gently accountable to what you set out to do.
06. Go deep on your 1:1 call.
Each month, we meet for a full 1:1 session on your current focus, at the point in the month that best serves the work. This isn’t a status update or a quick accountability call. It’s dedicated working time: a space to think together, follow the thread, make decisions, untangle what’s unclear, and create in real time.
Two examples
of how a month can look:
You're in Spring (Pillar: Express), ready to create a month of content. On our call, we find the thread that runs through your story. From there, I shape storytelling angles, and you write from them, in your own voice.
You're in Autumn (Pillar: Embody) with a retreat coming up. On our call, we tune into the energy of the retreat and build its visual mood board together, live. Then I design the flyers, posters, and social templates, and you customise them alongside me.
So here is what each season looks like
Open the menu under each to see what we might create together, one focused piece each month, shaped to your season. And if something else is calling, tell me, we'll see if it fits.
ROOT
A time of rooting, of quiet before the growth, when the most important work is happening underground where no one can yet see it. You might be here if your work feels ready to move but you cannot yet name toward what, if visibility feels activating rather than exciting, or if you sense you have been building faster than you have been able to feel.
New to this, and sensing you need to root on your own first? We Root Before We Rise is a gentle way to begin →
You are likely in winter.
-
A system that organises your content creation around your energy · A vision board and full PDF that captures the frequency of your project · Creating rituals before you post, so being visible begins to feel safe · A decision-making filter for new opportunities · A realignment of your offers with the capacity you actually have · A minimum sustainable presence plan for lower-capacity seasons
Express
You are likely in Spring.
The first emergence, when what was felt inwardly all winter begins, at last, to find its words.
You might be here if your work carries a depth you struggle to put into language, if your message feels smaller than the thing it is trying to hold, or if you keep starting sentences about your work and not finishing them.
-
The core thread running through your story · audit of your social media presence through the collective roots lens · a rewritten bio, short and long · your positioning and messaging, clarified · the messaging and structure for your newsletter · a month of content angles rooted in your story · a storytelling framework you can reuse · messaging for a new offer or launch
EMBODY
You are likely in an Autumn season
A season of shedding what no longer fits, so something truer can take its place. Autumn is about letting go as much as it is about creating: honouring what is complete, clearing space, and giving your work a shape that finally reflects who you have become.
You might be here if your visuals no longer match who you are now, if your work sounds like you but does not yet look like you, or if you sense you are carrying an old identity that is ready to be released.
-
A content or offer audit, deciding together what to keep, evolve, or release · a repurposing strategy, giving existing work new life · a creative composting process, honouring what is complete and clearing space for what is emerging · a set of branded social media templates · a flyer or poster for an event, retreat or offer · branded materials for a workshop or gathering · a lead magnet or freebie design · a presentation or workbook template
CONNECT
You are likely in a SUMMER season
The warmth that draws people together, when your work is ready to become something others can enter, not only something they see.
You might be here if your work is meant to gather rather than simply be broadcast, if you long for resonance more than reach, or if you sense your work could become a place people belong, and not only a thing they consume.
-
The concept and structure for a freebie · a workshop or series concept, its arc and flow · the concept for a community experience or gathering · the concept for a challenge or participatory project · an engagement strategy: how to nurture your community and who to collaborate with · the concept and structure for an email journey · the concept and arc of a launch
In a Connect season, we shape the concept, structure, and strategy for how your work gathers people. When it's ready to be produced or run, the building of materials or the ongoing engagement itself, that stays in your hands, or can be scoped as its own piece.
Expand
Once your work has gathered its people, it is ready to move outward, to travel further than your own platform can carry it.
You might be here if your work is ready to reach beyond the people who already know you, if you want to be seen without feeling exposed, or if there are podcasts, publications, and conversations already gathering around the themes your work explores.
When you're ready for me to take a campaign into execution, that lives as a separate PR service →
Still Summer, its second movement.
-
Your strongest media angle · a press release · a press kit that holds your story well · your founder story, shaped for media · podcast angles and a pitch · a media or speaker bio · your preparation for being interviewed

A partnership built over seasons
Meaningful work needs room to unfold. That’s why Rooted Together is a longer-term partnership, with 3-month, 6-month or 12-month commitments, depending on the continuity you're looking for.
As Rooted Together opens, the first three partnerships are held at a founding rate, my thank you to those willing to begin this with me. Your founding rate stays with you for as long as we work together, even as it rises for those who come later.
Founding rate (first 3 partnerships)
3 months · €450/month (standard €550)
6 months · €400/month (standard €500)
12 months · €350/month (standard €450)
Over that time, I get to know your voice, your story, your body of work, and the bigger picture of where you're going. I can see the threads between the things we create together, remember what we've uncovered, and help you keep moving from one piece to the next.
I'm here to be the hand on your back when you need encouragement, the perspective when you can't quite see the way forward, and the creative partner beside you as the work takes shape.
That's why Rooted Together is intentionally selective. I work with a small number of ongoing partnerships at a time, beginning with an application and a free discovery call to make sure we're a genuine fit.
meet your guide Charlotte Gomes
Founder of Collective Roots PR
I'm Charlotte. For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the invisible thread between things. The sense that beneath the noise and the disconnection, something deeper is still running through all of us. I saw it first in music, standing in rooms full of strangers who arrived separately and left changed. Then in my own healing, finding my way back to myself through practices and rituals older than the systems I had grown up trusting.
Across more than a decade of working with creatives, visionaries, and changemakers, a pattern emerged that I could not ignore. The offerings that created the deepest resonance were never the ones built fastest. They were the ones whose creators had spent time in the threshold, listening to what the idea already knew before they started shaping it.
Rooted Together grew from that understanding. It is the kind of partnership I wish had existed when I was beginning my own work: someone beside me through each season, who understood that the body knows things the business plan cannot, and that meaningful work needs tending long before it needs to be seen.
What you might be wondering
-
That is exactly what Rooted Together is built for. You are not locked into one kind of work. As your season shifts, so does what we create. Some months root, some months express, some months reach outward. We follow where your work actually is.
-
Not at all. We begin wherever you are. If you already feel grounded and your work is ready to find its language, we start in Express. If your words are clear but the visual world needs tending, we begin in Embody. The creative seasons quiz can help you sense where you are, or you can simply notice which pillar lands in your body as you read.
-
An intensive is a single window with a fixed outcome. Rooted Together is a continuous relationship: one call, weekly support, your evolving Notion space, and one co-created piece each month, shaped to your season rather than decided in advance. It is accompaniment through the whole journey, rather than one stage of it.
-
We create one focused piece each month, shaped to your season. You can explore the menu under each season above to see the kinds of things we make together, and if something else is calling, bring it and we'll see if it fits a month's focus. Once we choose your piece, you'll find its full scope in your Notion space, what it includes, how we'll approach it, and where its edges are, so we're always clear and working toward the same thing. Some things, like a full website or a complete brand identity, aren't part of what I offer, and larger pieces like a PR campaign are quoted separately as their own project, but I'll always point you toward the right path for whatever you need.
-
Absolutely. You're always the one choosing. If you've found a rhythm that serves you, writing a month of content together, say, you can stay with it for as long as it's helping. Some people deepen one focus over several months; others move with their season. There's no right way, and no falling behind.
